What life stages do bed bugs go through?

Bed bugs go through five nymph stages before becoming adults. After hatching from eggs, bed bug nymphs moult five times, growing larger with each stage. A blood meal is needed for nymphs to be able to moult, for males to produce sperm and seminal fluid and for females to produce eggs. The final stage is the adult bed bug, which van reproduce and continue the cycle.
