How do you find bed bugs?

In 9 out of 10 cases bed bugs hide in furniture, mainly beds, in which humans rest, which means you should start to search for signs of bed bugs there.

Especially pay attention to:

• mattress seams
• bed frames
• headboards
• furniture joints

Look for signs like reddish-brown bugs, tiny white eggs, shed skins, or dark fecal spots.

Check around cracks in walls, skirtings, and behind pictures or electrical outlets. Use a flashlight to examine these areas, as bed bugs are nocturnal and prefer dark, hidden spots.
